Client: Aberdeenshire Council – Housing and Social Work

Support for records management improvement initiative in Housing and Social Work including shared drive file rationalisation, migration to corporate EDRMS and internalising of the records management function. This has included the alignment of each IM improvement project with the Services’ current business plans, national performance targets and regulatory obligations to ensure that they are clearly driven by the strategic and operational drivers of each Service. In addition, the initiative directly supported three cross council initiatives with clear IM improvement requirements: WorkSmart – supporting home and flexible working; Asset Management project – focussing on rationalisation and more effective use of Council property and Kaizen for Daily Improvement – a project aimed at embedding the practice of day-to-day continuous improvement in all areas, achieved by developing service culture, skills and knowledge.
